Support
Connection and loading
An internet connection is required to load Google Photos and make changes to your cloud library. If loading fails, check your connection and tap Retry. Your saved review decisions remain on this device.
Choosing what to keep
A swipe records a decision. Marking an item does not immediately delete it. Open Selected to review your choices before confirming a cloud action.
Albums and partner photos
Album removal and moving an item to the trash are different actions. Check the confirmation carefully. Saving a partner photo adds it to your own Google Photos library.
An uncertain result
If an action was interrupted or its result could not be confirmed, check the result in Google Photos before trying again. Do not repeatedly submit the same action.
Languages and appearance
Open Settings to choose English, Spanish or Russian, and a light, dark or system theme.
Contact support
Describe the screen, what you tried and what happened. Include your device model, operating system and app version. Do not send passwords, verification codes or private photos.

Publisher and contact
Cleanup Google photos is published by Daryna Barysiuk. For support and privacy requests, contact beyoung.belcrew@gmail.com.
How the app works
Cleanup Google photos displays its review interface over Google Photos web content. Signing in takes place on Google's pages inside the app. You do not create a separate Cleanup account.
Data kept on your device
The app stores review decisions, selected media identifiers and associated review metadata, progress, preferences, and operation recovery information in its app storage. The embedded browser can retain Google sign-in cookies and cached web content. Local diagnostic files contain app states and counters used to investigate failures. On iPhone and iPad, app progress and diagnostic files may be included in system backups, depending on your device settings. Android backup and device-transfer rules are configured to exclude app data. Deleting the app does not delete existing system backups; manage those through your backup settings.
Google services
Google receives the requests needed to sign in, load photos and videos, and perform actions you confirm. Network information, cookies, account information and interactions can be processed by Google's web services under Google's privacy policy and your Google account settings. Using an embedded browser does not make this processing local-only. Video playback may also load Google-hosted YouTube player pages inside the app.
Developer services
The native application contains no developer advertising or analytics SDK and no developer endpoint for uploading your photo library. If you contact support by email, the support team and email provider receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer your request.
Retention and removal
Local progress remains until it is removed by the app or you delete the application's data. Deleting the app on iOS (rather than offloading it), or clearing its storage on Android, removes the local app data. This does not delete your Google account or cloud photos. Google controls retention of information held by its services; use your Google account controls for that information.
Your choices
You decide which cloud actions to confirm. You can stop using the app and remove local data. Contact support for questions about information you sent to support. Do not include private media or authentication details in your message.
Website hosting
These pages are hosted using Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). The hosting service processes network requests, including information such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. These pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising or external fonts. This statement applies to these Cleanup Google photos pages; other pages on the same domain may use different services.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the app's data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
Remove your data
There is no separate Cleanup Google photos account to delete. To remove local progress, settings and the embedded browser session, delete the app on iPhone or iPad (not just offload it), or clear app storage on Android. This does not delete photos or your Google account. Manage Google data and access through your Google account. For information you sent to support, email us to request access, correction or deletion; do not send passwords or private media.
Local Cleanup data
On Android, open system Settings → Apps → Cleanup Google photos → Storage → Clear storage. On iPhone or iPad, delete the app rather than offloading it. This removes local review progress, preferences, cached web content and the app’s Google session. Your Google account and cloud library remain.
Google account and cloud data
To delete the Google account used to sign in, open your Google Account, choose Data & privacy, then More options → Delete your Google Account, and follow Google’s confirmation steps. Download anything you want to keep first. This affects Google services beyond Cleanup, including Gmail and Google Photos; it is not necessary just to stop using Cleanup.
Photos without deleting your account
You can remove individual photos and videos in Google Photos while keeping your Google account. Moving items to the trash and permanently deleting them have different consequences; review Google Photos’ current retention and recovery information before confirming.
Retention and support requests
Google manages deletion and retention for its services, including backups and information retained for security or legal reasons. See Google’s retention policy below. For information you sent to Cleanup support, email beyoung.belcrew@gmail.com with a deletion request and identify the relevant correspondence. Do not send passwords, verification codes or private photos.
Terms of use
Your Google account
Use an account and photos you are authorized to access. Google services remain subject to Google’s terms and your account settings. The app requires an internet connection for cloud content and actions.
Your choices and cloud actions
Review the selected items and action before confirming. Removing an item from an album and moving it to the trash have different effects. Restoring cloud items is subject to Google Photos availability and retention rules. If a request is interrupted, check its outcome before repeating it.
Availability
The app depends on Google Photos web functionality. Changes to Google’s service can affect sign-in, loading, video playback or supported actions. Contact support if a feature stops working.
Apple license
For the Apple version, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless the App Store listing states otherwise. These usage notes do not replace that agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights.
